If you have experienced or are experiencing bullying
SPEAK UP-You have a voice! You do not have to stay silent as someone talks about you and teases you. Speaking up does not mean you have to fight but you can be loud with the bully if you need to.
Tell someone you trust- Telling someone that you are being bullied may seem scary, but confiding in a friend or family member can be a huge help. Besides giving you advice, this person may direct you to a counselor or a school administrator who can stop bullying.
Surround yourself with positive people- Positive peer pressure can help a lot. When you are around friends who positively influence you and who want the best for you, it builds your confidence. Do not be afraid to confide in these people and see if they can help you.
Practice the power of positive visualization - Whenever the bully is talking about you think about something positive. Imagine yourself in a place where you feel completely yourself. Then walk away from the bully.
