I love to paint my nails bit when they chip it is one of the most annoying things in the world. Here are some tips to make sure your polish lasts a little bit longer!
1. Buy quality polish- Not all nail polish is created equal, I learned this one the hard way. If you get dollar polish it may chip more easily than if you bought 5 dollar polish. Sally's Beauty Spply store has a large selection.
2. Dont put it on too thick- Putting the polish on too thick is asking for trouble. The nail polish may start to peel off in thick globs. This is very frustrating!!!!!!!
3. Don't forget the top coat- A top coat maay not seem important but it is one of the best things to use if you want your polish not to chip!
4. Use nail polish remover- If you don't the color wll show through your top coat, just don't do it.
5. Let your nails dry completely- While your nails dry don't bump them around too much or else they will crack and smudge.
6. Check out this new nail polish system that uses a radiation light! It may cost more but it will keep your nails pretty for longer.
