The number one way to be successful in life is to set goals. Successful people like Oprah Winfrey and Bill Gates set goals to get to where they are now. The great news is that you can be successful too. All you have to do is take a few minutes and think about goals. So, what is a goal? A goal is something that you set out to achieve in a certain amount of time. Examples of goals would be to lose more weight, to get better grades in school, or to stop biting your nails. Below are a few steps for you to set your own goals.
1. Think about something that you want to achieve. Make sure to be specific.
2. Write it down- Find a safe place, preferably one that you look at often, and post the goals up in that place.
3. Think about what it would take to achieve the goal. For example, if you want to lose more weight, what would you have to do to get there?
4. Think about it some more. Read over your goal and ask yourself if it is something that you are willing to do.
